EDIT//99% I managed to figure out the problem in the layout without having to change it. I’m so happy! The person who coded the free theme added some unnecessary things into the comment page. Fortunately my detective work figured it out!
The website is 98% complete. The other two percent is the worst percent ever! I cannot fix the problem with my comments no matter how hard I try so the possibility that I did this all for nothing on this layout is very high. I love this layout the versatility of it was perfect the 3 extra columns I could do whatever my little heart desires. It will be a tragedy if I must redo it, however the show will go on.
The other 1% is extra content. I’ve been doing content like a mad woman, slacking off at work might have been a downfall but I am just so excited over this website. I am scouting out some new themes just incase, I don’t like to not have a plan!
This website is small granted, however with future visitors and your participation this website will be huge having all the resources everyone could ever want for their blog! Everything I am doing to promote this website I will let you know so that you can promote yours!
The idea that putting your site into a site indexer and the hits will just start piling is a great idea, however it very rarely happens. You have to work your little buns off to actually get out there. People don’t become popular over night no matter what success story they are trying to sell. The in two weeks I’ve made 1,000 dollars just means they were popular to begin with and put ads on their site.
There are so many ways to help promote you! One of the greatest ways is to comment! When I say comment I mean it, comment all over the place. When people comment back, go back to their site and comment again. Eventually a friendship starts to form and you’ll link each other but remember you need them more than they need you in essence of gaining popularity so that eventually if it is your goal to make money.
You need to make a presence of yourself! You need to be on popular message boards geared towards your style of site. There are tons of message boards, some can’t be found by googling some can. Your best bet is to search and search start at once site and keep going. I’ve joined a few message boards myself and it’s helped my other site tremendously.
Being popular is an important thing for money makers if no one visits you no one will click. You need to throw yourself on the train tracks in the beginning its the best way to work from the bottom up and eventually someone else will be doing the same thing only you’re on the receiving end, which will make you feel great. Just remember that, someone had to promote their site too. No one unfortunately is instantly popular.
