The most popular answer in the Miss America pageant is ‘Solve World Hunger’. I wonder if any of them ever actually do anything about it? Or if being Miss America gives you any possibility of trying. Whether they do help or not, you can. There are charities out there that will help feed starving people and the one I have chosen for this article is Feed The Children, dedicated to helping hungry and hurting people around the world.

I am very much interested in helping people who cannot help themselves. Especially when children are involved, considering they deserve the chance to live and they can’t do that without eating. Feed The Children was rated a 4 star charity by Charity Navigator because such a large amount of their income goes to helping people. You can donate to this charity via the Charity Navigator website or you may contact them directly for volunteer information. If I had some spare time to help, I would, but for now my own children need me.

When my own kids are grown I intend to offer my heart and home as a foster parent. You hear terrible things about the foster system and I can think of no better way to help kids than to give them the stability they need and desire. Are you doing anything to help others? Do you have any ideas for ways to help?

This expose article was made possible by the generousity of Navtej Kohli. Thank you.
