Good luck with your new blog and on your project. I was never one for DIY stuffs. I guess I could though if I really wanted to. Anyway, like I said before, Good Luck!

When I was fourteen, two of my best friends and I painted my room, including baseboards, ceiling and one side of my door. We got it everywhere and the painting looked like crap. This past summer, Don and I had to paint over it (black and red!!) and we chose a very pale green with a beige trim, which looked great and since it was Kilz, it covered pretty easily. Problem was, since the paint job was so awful in the first place and we didn't do much better this time around, the painting looks awful. Moral of the story, don't let your fourteen year-old daughter and her friends paint a room unsupervised.

I wish you good luck on the DIY projects. I've always wanted to try on my own, but I'm not very good at it either, so I've been kind of put off. I can do crafts, scrapbooking, etc., but not very much household DIY. I can sand and stain wood though. I did two bookcases and a desk and they turned out wonderfully.

I'm sure I'll follow your blog just like your others. Good luck on that, maybe I can guest post or something. ;)
