Hey everyone, sorry for the little disappearing act. There’s been a lot going on personally and professionally that have made my blogs pretty much nonexistant. The only thing I managed to do was to keep up with my weekly weight loss journal on my mommy blog.
I’ve got a lot coming up, though. I sat down and picked some brains, including the old owner of this site, and made a large list of topics to post on. This will help me in a number of ways, but mostly to keep me updating daily, as you’re all used to. I spoke with Amanda, the old owner ov TBW, about the topics on this blog and she explained to me that it was a bit more broad than I had realized. It’s not just about making money from your blog, but from any website you own or pretty much anything you can do online and make money. That helps me a lot because it raises the limits of what I can accomplish on this blog. She’ll be guest blogging her soon as well.
One of the things I’ve found around other blogs was people complaining about how Amanda seemed to brag about the money she was making online, though the purpose of the blog was kind of for it to be a case study for her to learn the best ways to make money and then tell others how to do it as well. So my question to you is, would you want me to list this information for you? Let me know how you feel about that, please.

I guess everyone wants to know how they can make money on the net. I guess if the info is percieved as good or bad can only be up to the reader. I would like to know how people make money on their blogs and otherwise.
October 16, 2007 @ 1:29 pmBut would you like to know dollar amounts I’ve achieved?
October 16, 2007 @ 2:08 pmI’d like to know the actual numbers because then I’d know whether the program/whatever you’re doing is worth it to me. For instance, because of Amanda’s posts ages ago, I realized sponsored posts are exactly what I want to do and that’s exclusively what I use right now.
And I’m seriously lacking inspiration these days, but if you gave me something to work with, some ideas/parameters, I could try to design a logo. Not promising anything though.
October 17, 2007 @ 8:38 pmI don’t visit TBW as much now because the quality of posts have severely diminished. Your main posts seem to be for Pay Per Post. They lack any kind of TRUE content; It’s just forced to adhere to the requirements.
With Amanda, I didn’t feel as if though she was blogging solely to pick up every OPP possible at PPP or any other sponsor website. Granted, there were times when her grammar would annoy the crap out of me, but I actually read some of her posts.
Here I scan through, see random topics and I’m out. You’re too broad with picking up just any OPP. There needs to be some limit to what you blog about, and if you’re going to do it.. Don’t make it so cookie cutter.
That might also explain the dip in visits I’ve noticed over the past few months (I think it’s been enough to say that now?) The posts are boring, and are lifeless.
Find something out there that will grab your viewers attention and keep them reading. Don’t keep pushing them away.
October 19, 2007 @ 10:07 pmThanks for the input, Jess.
To be honest, a lot of the posts are pay per post right now because I’m trying to plan things out. That’s why I’ve been making the lists of things to blog about and trying to make it my own.
Amanda pretty much covered everything in the time she had it and all that seems to be left is going over the same old stuff. I’m trying..
