I don’t know if many other pro bloggers have a conscience, but mine is telling me I need to give something back. I’ve made a bit of money off this website, as is the purpose, and I’d like to thank my readers for that. I comment back to each one (if I’ve missed you, let me know) and that’s all fine and dandy, but where’s your slice?
I always thought it’d be exciting to run a contest since the first one Amanda had here. But for what? I’m not really sure. A lot of people are giving iPods, but who doesn’t already have one? And some people are just giving cold, hard cash. But I would like to give a gift that helps the pro blogger.
The purpose in this entry is to ask you what you’d like, what you would participate for. I’m really excited to hear what you come up with.
Hmm .. if the prize was a Ferrari, I would definitely take part ;)
Personally, I’m not too fond of cash prizes. Not that the cash doesn’t come in useful, but having something tangible you can attribute to your experience is always more valuable.
How about some unusual gadget? I’ve always fancied a USB missile launcher (http://www.u-g-h.com/USBMissleLauncherFromMaplin.aspx), but could never justify buying one. Now .. if I won it in a competition …

Blog Consulting, books on blogging/wordpress/seo, advertising space on here, or maybe on a blog you admire in this same niche. Any and all of these would be worth competing for in my mind.
