I love the RSS feed options on websites. I am limited to the number of RSS feeds. Unlike a lot of other people I don’t use an RSS feed such a bloglines or google feed reader.

I use XML. If you click view in XML and it shows just a bunch of script, it means your browser unfortunately does not operate with XML.

    How to solve this problem?
    1. switch browsers (i prefer safari or firefox)
    2. update your browser

XML makes it easier, for example firefox browser allows you to subscribe to the websites feed right in your bookmarks or will create its own toolbar underneath your URL bar with a list and just will create a drop down menu when you’ve exceeded the number of feeds shown on your window size.

I like XML because it is more instant and in your face and reminds me to visit my friends websites.

Most people are away of RSS feeds but if you are like my mother and are new these are all big to do’s.

You can also sign up for RSS feeds to go straight to your email, however my email is flooded by spam 90% of the time so I tend to delete the real ones on accident. So I would assign its own email address for those.
