I used to be on Despair, though I am coming here because you commented on my site. :) Thanks for the comment.

Many bloggers never visit new sites, that’s for sure. Take most of the prominent bloggers; they usually comment on sites that are already attracting a huge number of comments.

It’s good that you are promoting visiting sites that comment back and forth. I am going to add this site to my bookmarks list also. Hopefully I will be able to spam *cough cough*, I mean, comment, every now and then. :)

I just signed up, thanks. Yes, I do love comments on my blog and I try to return them as much as I can. Same thing with mybloglog screen, if I can tell you’ve visited I do as well.

Sometimes you get the ones that leave shit comments. But some are good. I just hate getting assigned to a site that take a million years to load.

I do love comments on my blog, especially those that enhance the value of my postings. I might sign up and give it a try, but if the comments I start getting amount to drivel I may just opt out.

I love my commenters, but wow. I never knew this site existed and people were this desperate to get people to comment. Wow…amazing.

I agree though that keeping up with commenters is important to the growth of a community at your site.

Despair pisses me off.
But it is a good system, in theory. Assuming people do what they should.
