You may have noticed something new or something out of place. Right now we’re working on giving this site a facelift and an overhaul. First the design, then comes the content. It’s a very exciting change for me and it should be ready for you soon. Then comes the content change, which I’m brainstorming right now as Anna works on getting the design situated.
I think you’ll be pleased with the changes to the site. I’m very excited.
As a blogger, you probably spend a lot of time at the computer. If you’re a pro blogger, you probably spend equal time planning and researching your topics in a variety of ways. Some people prefer to do things all online, but I like to do many things the old fashioned way, without a computer. I write things a lot. I keep a log of my earnings, I write down ideas, I make a to-do list, etc. All the planning, brainstorming, and organization I do is with a pen and paper, because I work better that way.
I ran out to get a notebook and pens, I love notebooks. I like ball point pens because gels are sloppy and smear. Since I couldn’t find any nice ones, I decided to pick up this Bic Z4 Roller. It’s an attractive pen, and I must admit, I will always pick a more attractive pen. I got the blue, the pink, the purple, and the green. I like colored pens, too.. :P So I get home and I start writing and I can barely see it. Hmm, okay.. Let’s try another color.
All of the pens are disgustingly light and the ink is very thin. When I write I get goosebumps because of the way it feels on the paper and the noise it makes. It gives me the shivers. In short, I guess this was a poorly planned warning not to waste your $6 on these pens.
I signed up with a new service I was referred to called Blog Rush. It’s basically a link exchange between other related blogs. If you take a look over on the sidebar to the right (and down a little) you’ll see my Blog Rush with links to other blogs with similar content. It’s the same idea as Google, but instead of making or paying money, you gain exposure on other relative blogs by linking to them. This is all set up by them, all you need to do is add a code.

Because you’re getting visitors from other blogs like yours, they’re already interested. So all you need to do is keep their interest and earn their bookmark or subscription. It’s a great way to promote your website and retain high quality links on your blog. I’ve seen my stats go up 15% since I began using it only a week ago.
In my mind I had the idea to start of fresh on Nov 1 with updated content, a new blogging style, and a new design. The design is in the works, but not ready yet. The Nov 1 I had in mind kind of crept up on me, so the content isn’t updated either. However, I still intend on raising the quality of the blog posts. Part of this site is to document my journey to making more money online. Not just with this website, but with any website I have. I’ll start with updates on this site and move on. Each month I will add information about a new site until all my sites are documented. I hope this becomes of popular interest.
I’d like to make the site a bit more interactive as well, so I’m brainstorming there. I think the lack of content on this site was an issue, and the lack of organization of that content. Some things will need to wait for the new design, while others I can go ahead and implement now. Lots of planning to do! Let’s get started..
