There are a lot of ways you can start your advertising campaigns and none of them involve pay per click! Like I’ve mentioned before in previous posting comment comment comment its always a good way to start!
Personally I think it is the best way for readers to know that you are there and care is to go to other sites and let them know you enjoy their site, if you’re just the almighty behind the computer whose to say you actually care about your readers?

There are great ways for you to start cheap advertising campaigns, you not only can comment, and choose the expensive route of going through advertising companies or you can join message boards, signatures etc.

Some people have gone to hiring other bloggers to comment and use a return link to their business. Thats one way comment on tons of blogs and get them to goto your business instead. It works believe it or not and you’re human and not really spamming.

This also works great for business owners and personal bloggers. You can join local messege boards like Disaster MB, Gravity, Smack!, New Revolutions, Radiant MB, or XXX Mb.

Those are just a couple. Find message boards like these are great but they do have their cons. Some aren’t very welcoming. Some message boards like these hate newbies, but if you stick around your are no longer a “n00b” to them anymore.
Secondly you have to have a really great designed site, even if you have a free layout just tweak it up! They will rip you to shreds if you don’t. Do not promote your business in the plug section, put it in your signature and POST! Or ask for them to review your site it gets you hits and gets their comments on your product and website

Their advertising rates are cheap some are $2 dollars for a MONTH!
