Platinax is a really cool forum thats for business owners and blog owners who treat their blog like a business. That’d be me! Business Forums are hard to come by in essence of the fact that everyone makes them but not all are good.

I like the fact that this one is still kinda small in some ways but enough posts and members to be resourceful. They aren’t over run with ads and have a minimalist style about them. Which I enjoy.

This is actually a pretty nifty site. Its poorly designed, so I think they will attract more attention with a better design but the idea is there. Its a user submitted software site, so you can potentially find a lot of cool software there.

The main idea of the site is to download multimedia software, however the potential for growth is there. You can find some paid downloads, but they also have free ones as well, and as every savvy blogger knows free is good for me. They offer free screen savers, font viewers, image morphing software. For this site it has quite the variety I must say.

My main tip to them is to ditch the layout and create new, most people judge a book by its cover and having a layout that screams that the site is reputable enough to afford a well done layout will be helpful. I don’t like to throw my money down the drain and sometimes its the fact that it looks like you’re about to and some seedy sites come out good and some are bad but when a site makes an effort not to look seedy its so much better.

I was just accepted into Yahoo! Publisher Network!!! I am very excited this is the first time I have been in a PPC program that I hear actually pays you.

It is a very sought after program to the point where people were selling invites for $1500 dollars, I was offered one I am like no thank you, you’re a rip off and you could totally get reported.

I have managed to place them and limit the number of ads on the site so it should look a lot nicer now that I have cleaned it up I am going to let you know how it works and what not please let me know what you think of the less ads better worse?

As you can see I’ve added a how much I’ve made per month and the total increases. The amount is how much I’ve made because or through these blogs. The total is high right now (not just from ads this includes consulting jobs I’ve taken because of TBW) So sometimes the total is higher one month then the other, I may have no consulting jobs that month :P But I try to be as accurate as possible to the penny and I keep it updated on a daily basis as I sell an ad, a review etc.

I’ve been able to get tons of great content, I’m very picky about the ads that go on theblogworld.net since with the page rank update I can be. PJMommy I’m able to take a broader spectrum of ads because it covers tons of topics, fashion, monetizing blogs, babys, family, dinner out, friends etc. There are tons of topics that are relating to the site. So I have more options than those who are just one niche. So please keep that in mind. But having multiple sites does help. If you are able to maintain one or more sites and one is a broad spectrum niche and the other is a strict niche it offers tons of opportunities for you to make money. Thats how I’ve managed to increase the amount of money I’ve made this month than last month.

So always start one blog figure out your niche and from there you can find other niches who will earn you more money too. It also helps to look out for domain sales that come with a clean page rank!
