As I’ve written about in the past, it is important to comment. Commenting gives you free publicity and raises your ratings on technorati. But it is hard to remember all the places you comment. I myself comment over 80 websites a day because I’m always searching for new things. I found this handy resource over at healthywebdesign.com Its conversation comment tracking, for if you want to start conversation on a blog these are the places to do it. I use it to track the places I’ve commented at. The websites are called cocomment.com and co.mments.com

The great thing about having wordpress is all the free templates you can find online. TBW uses one so I can show readers how great and versatile they can be. However its hard for me to find them based on the requirements I have for 3-4 columns. No one really makes 4 columns that work well and aren’t made for personal sites however but using free templates are great.

      1. They make it easier for you as the blogger to update, upload, chmod, tweak and you’re set.
      2. You can skin your site with multiple free layouts
      3. If you get a free layout, you have a starting point
Amy from www.asastar.com started out with a free template and then redid it to suit her sites needs and and got rid of the sultry image of a model in her underwear and replaced it with a cute graphic of hearts.

There are so many free layout places its hard to list all of them, I compiled a short good for now list and am looking for resources that do not display the same layouts over and over again. It’s hard to find those though, a lot have broken links and I am shifting through as to not give you “filler” content and list tons of things and never check back for dead links. If you ever see anything dead let me know. It’s down immediately and monitored for life signs :P

I was just approved the other day on a new program called LoudLaunch.com for my other personal site. They have this website on pending approval still. I wonder why? Maybe its because i can RIP THEM TO SHREDS!

I accepted one of their ads. All their running ads so far are you either do it for free or its $5.00 The income potential is limited. So far on loudlaunch, as well as who is purchasing the ads on here. I also have major problems logging in. I continue to login after 5 attempts I try a different login area and it does. They are both the same just one seems to hate my guts.
I accepted an adcampaign and wrote about some Russian Artists, it was a minimum 200 words. I wrote about 3 paragraphs and Followed it to a T. Their linking thing keeps deleting the direct link I send them and puts it back to my personal sites default address when they want the link to the direct post. Which is a negative on my behalf.

There are a lot of ways you can start your advertising campaigns and none of them involve pay per click! Like I’ve mentioned before in previous posting comment comment comment its always a good way to start!
Personally I think it is the best way for readers to know that you are there and care is to go to other sites and let them know you enjoy their site, if you’re just the almighty behind the computer whose to say you actually care about your readers?

There are great ways for you to start cheap advertising campaigns, you not only can comment, and choose the expensive route of going through advertising companies or you can join message boards, signatures etc.
