If you’re like me and wish you could go (I still can’t though because I work full time and can’t get off) but thought the price tag for the elite retreat was pricey well they have updated the anti by offering a $750 value of free lodgings at the Hilton Disney Resort.

Tara Lynn from Elite retreat sent me an email with the information.

It’s a fair trade for free lodgings vs. getting the ticket + airfare.

    Email Tara [at] EliteRetreat.info

If we receive applications by April 30th we are offering free hotel accommodations at the Hilton at Disney Resort for the extent of the Elite Retreat. That’s a $750 value. I have to tell you we are getting applications at an amazing speed, so I would encourage your readers and you to get those applications in ASAP, Everyone wants to go to Disney World, so Elite Retreat Orlando will sell out.

I don’t know if it is just me or I’ve noticed a lot of probloggers websites being down.

John Chow’s website is down all day for me yesterday and now ProBlogger’s website is down.

Which gets me thinking about reliable webhosting. I did a recent post about Skye-Host who I use (use TBW and get $2 off any plan) and I haven’t experienced one bit of downtime. I also use E-Starr ( coupon coming soon ) and I’ve never experience downtime either.

I also have another host I use Insiderhosting.com (use 30off and get 30% off any plan) after my debacle with them and have since gotten everything straightened out, I didn’t actually have downtime they suspended the server since the hosting company they bought out had a ton of accounts that weren’t included in the billing program unfortunately mine was one of them so I was suspended because of it. After having it fixed I can say in the 4 1/2 years I’ve been with them I’ve never experienced downtime to this day.

Having a good host is important.

I’ve also been having a massive amount of difficult with my friend who owns a website, her RSS feed is always down! She uses FeedBlaster and I have to say based on a reader my experience has been poor with the program she uses. I love her website to death but as a reader this is a far warning to you, I use feedburner. I subscribe to my own feeds to see how their loading is everyday. Make sure you subscribe to yours too it is very important to check on your RSS feed daily.

I have signed up with BurstMedia. They will be doing all the advertising with my website, the revenue I make will pay for webhosting, renewal of domains, advertising of this website and contest prizes.

I am testing them out and seeing how they work. So far so good, I just hope they are better than adbrite and bidvertiser.

As you will see the 2 ads on the sidebar are SURVEY please take them, so Burst can get all the useful information on targeting ads that actually are relevant to you guys!

So far so good, I have to say even though I am anti-adsense adwords is working very well.

Guess what 5 dollars bought me? 31 clicks! 26 of them to theblogworld, 4 to namenova.com and 1 to templatescene.com I originally signed up for template scene to be the one for adwords, but I figured it’ll be great. After I spent the 5 dollars in there I reloaded it with 25 dollars. I have to stop spending before I spend my entire paycheck! I figured twenty 5 dollars is a good show.

Namenova has $1 dollar a day spending limit
TheBlogWorld has a $5 dollar a day spending limit
TemplateScene has a $15 a day spending limit

I haven’t quite figured out how to go from $50 a month to a daily spending limit, but I’m still figuring out the whole adwords thing. I will post more about it once I’ve learned more. I have to say I enjoy it very much, and it is working out well for a small budget. I’m sure it’ll work out better if I had hundreds of thousands of dollars to spend then I would be a CLICK MOGUL!!!

          update///

          As of now

NameNova: 4 clicks (pitiful) (cost: 0.74$)
          TheBlogWorld: 70 clicks (cost: 13.10$)
          TemplateScene: 31 clicks (cost: 8.36$)

I’ve become adwords obsessed. I’ve spent a total of: 60 dollars on adwords :D

After further research namenova of course wasn’t maintaining a lot of clicks unfortunately because of the fact the keywords start at 5 dollars. To make the bids on it I had to raise namenova’s daily spending limit to 70 dollars to get rotation on any of those ads. To successfully advertise namenova to get 100-300 clicks a day will cost me 800 dollars. To not garuntee a single sale. I’ll stick to having a daily spending limit of 70 and watching it suck up all the money from my other blogs. just to get that 1 click that costs me $5 dollars :P
