I want to reach out and let everyone know, if you aren’t getting the bids you used to DO NOT BE AFRAID TO LOWER YOUR PRICE.

You don’t know exactly what your market is willing to spend whats hot and what isn’t. Don’t feel horrible about going lower. Pajama Mommy was at $210 per text link and it was awesome, however we weren’t selling any. They sold like hotcakes at $150-$175 so I emailed TEXT LINK ADS, although the guy was a little abrasive saying I dont think your price should be over $125 its like EXCUSE ME yeah I’m too good for that. But then I thought well I am the MOST expensive Parenting/Baby site in this market. So I sat on the idea for a few moments.

I toyed around and then asked them to lower me from $210 to $175 that is a $35 lower amount. But the fact was I went from having 10 ads spots filled to 9 then down to 7 and they weren’t renewing them like they had before. I usually sell out every month. This wasn’t any good. So I am trying again playing the field at the amount.

I personally do not care if I annoy everyone at TLA with the lowering and the raising of my prices, why because they are making 50% off of me doing this to find my best target market price. Granted I am getting a lot of buzz for direct advertising, however if I wasn’t playing the price amount they wouldn’t have made what they did if I didn’t play the field a bit correct?

Make sure you aren’t under pricing yourself, and make sure you aren’t over pricing yourself. Its a really hard game to play there are a lot of places that sell better and there are a lot that suck, you have to figure out your best market.

Text Link Ads seems to be the place where more money is spent. Text Link Brokers, you may get $300 at TLA but you’ll only get $75 at TLB which is better? I don’t know. All I know is money is green and its good for me :P

So I have founded another potentially awesome venture. I am thinking about doing things called Purse Parties, offline of course.

However if I decide I wanted to branch and offer my party attendants ways to purchase even if they decide not to throw a party why force them only to throw parties? Granted people can buy thousands of dollars worth of merchandise at a party but I don’t want people to be forced to do that if they just want that one bag?

I would need a merchant account I am doing a ton of research into whats the best. I would want to be able to take credit cards online and off without having to lug around an entire POS (point of sale) unit with me. Granted not everyone will want to write down their credit card number. So I am doing a lot of research in the best way. A part of me though I should have purchased a laptop since I can easily get that card that allows you to get wireless internet anywhere. However when I used to sell Mary Kay the customer would write down the credit card number and we would charge it via online.

However I never fully felt comfortable doing that I was always afraid of what if someone broke into my house they would be able to steal these identities. So what I am thinking is if I am forced to do this make out 2 receipts, one with the credit card number and one without and just shred the one with the number on it, but keep the 2nd one for records.

What do you think? What do you use?

Take a look at that picture. Since joining that company I’ve made $1130.35 I Joined in May. My first payment date was the 19th. As you can see. I have 5 blogs in there, however I only do reviews on 4 of them. I keep the 5th one as a omg I must have that on my site I hope they accept it. As its only a 2 star.

I have 1-4 check blog, 1-3 check, and 2-2 checks.

So I have the same chance as you. The thing with sponsored reviews is make sure they update your site. My friend went from a 1 check to a 4 check once I asked them to re-evaluate her checks saying that I think her score is inaccurate.

Now my same friend told me that she NEVER gets accepted and NEVER will make anything more than $6.50 she made that one time. So I told her…let me take over your sponsored reviews and if I don’t make you more money than that I will eat my words. HER NEW TOTAL IS $84.50

Granted its not as much as me, but who wouldn’t want an extra $80 bucks?

Basically I bid on pretty much everything. You dont necessarily have to know about things to write about it just look around the site, if you cant think of things talk about it in your life. I can talk about anything if given enough time. So can you.

Text Link Ads is still a new concept to a lot of people. I had questions about monetization and how to use it.

Text link ads tell text links on your website. Kind of like their own blog roll except people pay you from $15-2,000 a month to get hosted. They take a 50% commission however, sharing a commission is better than no money at all. Since my sites are placed in the faces of people who normally would not have heard about them or know that I sell text links.

They pay you once a month via check or paypal. I receive paypal payments. I receive it split in 2, one for my selling ads on my site, and the other for referring people to their services.

Just for selling ads I made just under $500 and I still have 1 spot open again so I expect to go over 500 this month! The month is still young. I find it a great way of earning money.

Now to address another issue. I’m teaching you things I’m using on my other niches. I have stuck to everything I’ve taught or spoken on or about on this website only! After doing JUST THAT I earned over 2,000 a MONTH since opening up my targeted niche in May. ON JUST ONE BLOG! Now granted I’m no John Chow.. but the fact is how many people can say that about themselves in 2 months? Heck Johnchow was only making 800 when he first started to monetize his niche.
