I have to say like many others getting comments is really hard and not everyone returns comments, I do my best to return comments to those who have left them. But make sure you keep up on that no matter how popular your site is do your best to return comments especially to the first time visitors.

Its those first time visitors you want to lure back!

I joined under Jenny’s constant nagging Despair.nu for a comment program, your website has to get approved then you put a code which not only promotes your site, technorati and potential pagerank you also are guaranteed comments, and visitors.

The best part is some of these new visitors I’ve gotten are coming back! It is a great program. I’ve signed up for it for 2 of my websites to see how well it does and so far so good! Try it out if you need people to comment to help boost a conversation in your comments section!

As I’ve been running my CONTEST!!

Contests have been popping up all over the web. Such as pureblogging.com is holding a contest to win an 8GB Apple Ipod Nano (or cash prize equivalent)

Contests are great ways, to get PR and higher hits. You don’t have to shovel out the money for a brand new ipod, goto your local store see if they have any open ones where you get a Best Buy gift card. Or anything electronic buy it and see if there is an open item. Those gift cards make for great prizes!

Check websites for refurbished Ipods apple sells the shuffle for only $49 and it ends up being better than a brand new one since it is checked twice.

You can make it as simple as my t-shirt contest saying link back to her and tell them about the contest, or as problogging which is write a review!

Go and bid on stuff at E-Bay get the cheapest things you can find! Great prizes and everyone loves to win free stuff. I know I do!

The So Called Me

I have to say I was not pleased with Adbrite or Bidvertiser. Who insisted I had no clicks. Which is completely fuddy dud in my opinion.

Having been accepted into the BurstMedia my clicks in the past few days have been 17 clicks. Unfortunately to all CPM’s but still, I’m getting clicks. I am getting more clicks with the new company I have. And even if I don’t get clicks I like the fact that I am also getting paid based on CPM’s. I haven’t made a lot but since having been with them just on my CPM’s I’ve made more money than the other two programs.

Some of you who are anti-google or banned from google from something stupid you may want to listen up. Just because your company says you’ve gotten no valid clicks doesn’t mean anything. Try another company. Keep trying and go through as many as I did since you will eventually was able to find a good program.

I like some people out there was not receiving credit for all my clicks. After inquiring with the company “all VALID clicks are showing” So you’re telling me having the ads on my site for weeks NO ONE was clicking any ads, and my ads were on 5 different sites. Don’t pull these stunts with me mister! I refuse to be jerked and so should you!

Some people don’t get clicks but thats why you should get CPM ads as well. Monetizing your site is a hard thing to do, you don’t just stick with one company and call it a day. Shop around try several and see which one readers like the most which one gets the most ad clicks. Readers are the most important people on your site. When you have better ads you will see a raise in your CTR, I know I did!
