I’ve been looking and researching about blog media networks, and placing TBW into one. I’m not sure if this is the specific route but I’m finding places who are accepting and figuring out what all the hullabaloo is about.

After googling about this I came across The Blog Network List and went through the list trying to find the applications quick, easy and all the information to join.
Some weren’t up, some were broken or hideous, so I came up with my list from popularity, ease of use on information to join, and aesthetic pleasure.

Wurk.net is currently revamping but you do get a response, I’m awaiting my 2nd one about information on joining the net work.

Weblogsinc.com - although the information to join the blogging group is right on the first page, I don’t like that you join into an existing blog and they rarely accept outside established blogs from the information floating around the web.

foddernetwork - simple design and easy to get the information as I have emailed the owner of the network. Although their general niche is everything ending with fodder they do have non “fodder” named websites but mainly entertainment

    RandomShapes.com - a network dedicated to teens!

ProBlognetwork - It looks outdated but its still up and running. I emailed to receive more information, however it will need a makeover as well as the sites under it needs to get made over maybe they can get someone new to help them out… *coughs* :)

Pajamasmedia.com a well designed, well maintained network. The join information is listed on the contact page.

For those who like to keep daily tabs on their status, linkbacks, whois and alexa rank there is a nifty little plugin created by the FireFox people. It’s created for FireFox and Mozilla for now, but I’m sure they will create something for IE for our non FireFox users.
      It looks like this:

For every site you visit using, SearchStatus lets you view its Google PageRank, Google Category, Alexa popularity ranking, Alexa incoming links, Alexa related links and backward links from Google, Yahoo! and MSN. This combined search-related information means you can view not only the link importance of a site (according to Google), but also its traffic importance (according to Alexa), so providing a balanced view of site efficacy.

After installing it and feeling bad about my dismal page rank, it really motivated me to do something about it even more so. If you’re like me with 0 as your page rank because you’re the new kid on the black it is also a great motivational tool!

      DOWNLOAD IT HERE!

Now for the IE Users there is an Alexa tool bar not as discrete as this nor does it include the page rank. Alexa Toolbar

        6. Hosting other blogs similiar to mine
        7. Mailing list not through an RSS feed
        8. Discounts with webhosting companies
        9. Interviews with successful bloggers
